Nurses really are everyone’s heroes. Certainly, these past several years has brought that to our attention. Don’t let the chance to celebrate their hard work and dedication get away.

Nurses Week is one of the best opportunities for everybody to show appreciation.

Here are some ideas that we offer to place your logo and message.

Give your nursing staff a thoughtful gift package to let them know how much they matter to you. A package filled with branded memorabilia, such as puzzles, tech goodies, or wearables, along with a motivational message, will demonstrate to them that their efforts are valued and acknowledged.

Notepads and journals are a great idea. Writing, doodling and coloring are great stress relievers.

Wearables; like the usual fare is always appreciated. But with nurses being on their feet so much, consider the thoughtful gift of socks; made to order to keep their feet comfortable. Choose from wool, dress, calf high, and cotton crew.

Ter's Tip: Marketing Secret:

Nurses Week is usually celebrated by healthcare related companies right? But have you ever thought that your business; even if it seems unrelated to the healthcare, can benefit by honoring nurses? First, know that creative facilities do not want to do the same thing over and over; they want to honor their staff in new, fun and very creative ways.

For example some may offer something like Monday Massage Day. Don't wait for them to find you (or a competitor). Be the first to approach them with the idea.

Taste Treat Tuesday. Every staff can bring in treats but if you own a bakery, candy store or "anything treat related" talk to them and set this up.

What can you and your business offer the nursing facility on Worthwhile Wednesday, or some other theme. What about Wavy Wednesday and offer nurses discount or free waves? I don't know, help me out here.

Thursday, OK, Thursday. Thanksgiving Thursday... alright. try this. Say you have a childcare business. Nurses have kids right? Nurses know others with kids right? Create a coloring sheet with your business name at the bottom of the page. Have your kids color it and send it to the local hospital to the nurses station. They will love it!!!

Finally, for Friday? Own a restuarant? Section off an area for nurses and family for Friday; with discount offers. Publicize and have a sign that states, Fantastic Friday because Nurses Are.

Of course, you don't have to use a daily theme such as any of the above. Certainly, giving a nice logo'd gift to every nurse who stops by your business during that week works too. Be imaginative. We got the stuff. Have fun.
